I like this book because it was funny, heart warming, taught a lesson. based on a true story by a famous basketball player, etc. It was overall just a great book! I loved it! Amare loves basketball, and so do his friends, but when a gang of older and stronger layers take over their court, the boys have to do all it takes to get their court back. It's a championship basketball game, and Amare has to win. Can he?

I love it but its a bit boring and it was just the beginning and I was very impressed by it and I think that is a great idea for me and I think it's my job and it was really fun and I wanted it is wel lit in a classroom where does the teacher get to the hard way that is the captain.

This book is a great book to read especially if you like basketball its about a former NBA player named Amar'e Stoudemire and its about hos childhood and how he only played basketball for fun,but it changed after he entered a tournament and from then he started taking it serious and made it to the NBA.I made a couple of connections Stat was for Standing Tall And Talented and im tall and talented to at basketball and he loved playing against older kids because thats what made him better and I play with older kids too .I give this book a five star because it's not boring and its about what he did,and why he was so good at basketball and what his childhood was like.

The reason why i decided to read this book is because it talked about my favorite sport which is basketball and as i read about this book was their is a character named Amar'e Stoudemire and he is a kid that take's school very seriously another thing is he helps out with his dad's landscaping company.
