I love this book because I like the adventures. Milo is the main character of the book and the funniest character in the book. Milo met Tock in the Doldrums and he was the first character he met that came with him.

I like this book because, Norton Juster uses wordplay and makes the places Milo goes get weirder and weirder. Another reason is that, he had two best friends that helped him, and through his journey he earned Ingots of Wisdom. I recommend this book because, it teaches you a lesson that you shouldn't be lazy, fickle and have a fixed mind set, and if you don't you can do many things.
I really liked this book! I love how depressed, emo, and sad he was at first and then at the end turned into a adventurous and happy boy. I loved how he was able to make friends along his journey and he learned lots of things. He learned to be more kind. He learned to be more caring. I loved how all his friends came together after his hero's quest was complete too. In conclusion, I really like this book and give it 5 stars.
The Phantom Tollbooth is a very meaningful book. This book teaches a very important lesson to the reader and is very important to young people. It teaches you to never judge a book by its cover and to always be thankful, caring, and thoughtful. It also teaches you to try your best in everything and never doubt anything just because you don't like it. That thing that you could take the time to study and learn can be really helpful at the most random times. So that's why this book is very meaningful.
I love this book so much because I like how Milo transformed and how he had 2 best friends by his side named Tock and the Humbug and It is so cool that there is a talking dog and it was kinda confusing to me but when Milo asked Tock why is your name Tock but you go tick and then Tock said it was because he's parents messed up and that his brother name was Tick when he goes Tock so after he said that it made more sense and my favorite part was when the were running away or escaping the Terrible Trivium and another good part was Chroma's Concert that was super fun to read in my opinion and I also like when Milo first got into his little car and started his quest and it was sad for me when had to say goodbye it was sad because I had a feeling that he did not want to leave his friends Tock and the Humbug that is why I love it.
This is a book I enjoyed entirely except for the start because not much happened in the very start but after chapter one everything is nice. One instance is when Milo meets Tock for the first time. Or when Milo got the call to save Rhyme and Reason because that made almost the whole story. Probably my favorite part is when they were at Chroma's Concert that was fun to read. Another fun part was when they were escaping The Terrible Trivium which was almost as good as the concert.
This book is really good. It had great character development. But the only thing that i disliked is that they didnt let tock talk a lot. Even though he is a dog, he was really cool. Anyway, if you like fantasy but you have complex vocabulary read this book.
Milo is a boy who doesn't like thinking. Then, one day he finds a mysterious package in the apartment. When he assembles it, he finds out that it's a tollbooth! When he drives his car through it, he gets transported to a very strange place. There, you can sell words and eat letters! Soon, he meets Tock, the watchdog who's. part watch, and the Humbug. Milo agrees to go on a quest to get the princesses of Rhyme and Reason back to the Kingdom of Wisdom, which has been suffering in their absence. But their castle is at the top of a mountain full of demons! How will Milo get to them? I liked this book because it was really witty, and the Humbug was especially funny. But how does Milo know how to drive?
Milo was on a quest to save the princesses. It was a long journey and Milo and his friends met some people on the way. Read this book to find out if they made it!
Great book! It might be an old book, but it id very entertaining. Milo was bored but after that adventure, he looks at the world differently. Over all, fantastic book! totally recommend!
