Now a Disney Channel Original Movie, Megan Shull’s smart and funny twist on Freaky Friday is perfect for fans of Wendy Mass, Jerry Spinelli, and Jon Scieszka!

With one random wish, Jack and Ellie are living life in each other’s shoes. He’s her. And she’s him. ELLIE assumed popular guys didn’t worry about body image, being perfect, or talking to girls, but acting like you’re cool with everything is tougher than it looks. JACK thought girls had it easy—no fights with bullies, no demanding dads, no power plays—but facing mean girls at sleepovers and getting grilled about your period is way harder than taking a hit to the face at sports practice.

Now they’re dealing with each other’s middle school dramas—locker room teasing, cliques, video game battles, bra shopping, and a slew of hilariously awkward moments—until they hopefully switch back! Told in both Jack’s and Ellie’s voices, The Swap offers a fresh and honest take on tween friendship, all while exploring more serious themes of family, loss, empathy, and what it really means to be yourself. And as Jon Scieszka says, it’s “seriously, truly, fearlessly funny!”

Its about a popular boy and a unpopular girl who switch bodies! The have completely different life styles! ONLY FOR MATURE KIDS! LIKE 11 AND ABOVE! It's awesome and the girl has no siblings but the boy does! It has a surprising ending! Read for more!

Two kids get in a fight. They have to go to the nurse, right? Well, they do. But something happens overnight. When they wake up, they are each other. The girl is the boy, and the boy is the girl. Megan Shull did an amazing job writing this book. Happy reading!

Have you ever looked at a person and wondered, "They're life seems so much easier!" Or at least thought they had no problems in the world ? Well, it was a start of a new school year for these teenagers, and one was a girl the other a boy. After having a rough first week at school, they both end up at the principals office. And once they see each other they think, "Boys have not trouble in the world" , and "Girls have it so easy!" The nurse comes in and makes a weird chant, or something that ioff a spell. And the second they wake up, they end up in each others bodies! Now they have to survive a weekend as each other. What do you think will happen next?

To be honest, I would rate this a million stars, because this is literally THE BEST BOOK EVER! Everyone can relate to the plot sometime in their life. Both Ellie, your average 7th grader, and Jack, the most popular boy in the 8th grade, are tired of their lives, so when they jokingly wish to swap places, it ACTUALLY HAPPENS! Ellie must have to deal with Jack's very strict schedule for two days, while Jack must deal with Ellie's problems with her "friends". Sounds easy enough, right? NO WAY! Megan Shull teaches her readers that it's actually extremely difficult to live in someone's shoes, even when it's only as short as two days! Awesome book!

This is my favorite book ever. So basically, JAck and Ellie go to the nurse at the same time (They don't know each other yet) and the lights go out. The nurse lady starts chanting something, and when the lights go back on, POOF, they switched bodies. We experience Ellie (Her mind in Jack's body) standing up to Jack's father, and Jack (In Ellie's body) going through "Girl Problems". In the end, Their parents, (Jack's dad & Ellie's mom) get married, and they become siblings. Like I said, best book ever, would read for the 3073rd time. :)

One day, Jack and Ellie both end up in the principle's office for different reasons and they both think it's easy being the other person. Soon enough they find themselves in each other's bodies. They both figure out each others' struggles and in the end, Jack's dad and Ellie's mom get married and they're stepsiblings. :)

I 💕this book 📖

This book is amazing and the movie is too and there are challenging things they need to slove to get back into there life!😀

Ellie O'Brian and Jack Malloy are two very different kids. When they both coincidentally meet up in the nurse's office on the first day of school, they joke about swapping lives, both thinking the other has it easier. The nurse mutters a spell about switching lives, and just like that, they swap. Jack is in Ellie's body, and Ellie is in Jack's. At the end of the day Friday, they agree to demand the nurse to switch them back on Monday. They just have to survive the weekend. Over the course of the weekend, Ellie has to deal with Jack's demanding dad, hockey, Jack's brothers, and exercising like she's never done before. Jack has to deal with mean girls at sleepovers and talking about puberty. As they see what the other goes through every day, they realize that no one has it easy, and appreciates their own life. The Swap is narrated by both Jack and Ellie, and does a great job of helping you understand what is happening. I really enjoyed reading this book, and I know you will too.

The book sounds good! Thx for another cool review!
