How would you like to have a replica of your house or castle in the country - made entirely from fine Belgian chocolate! Well now its possible thanks to a company called 'Chocolate on Chocolate', founded five years ago by a British father-daughter team.

The original mission of the company, founded in a converted barn, was to create chocolate greeting cards, using the designs from Flo Broughton, a newly graduated graphic design artist. Her father, Kerr Dunlop converted her designs to molds used for making the chocolate 'cards'.

Over time, Kerr's models started to become increasingly intricate and the father-daughter team soon designed a way to sculpt buildings using plastic molds. Once they perfected the 'architecture' they started to make chocolate replicas of famous British buildings and structures.

Prince Charles of England saw one of Kerr's creations and was so impressed, that he commissioned Kerr to build him a replica of Highgrove, his country estate (pictured above). Since then the company has received orders from many celebrities including Hollywood star, Nicholas Cage and British Rock Star, Sting.

The custom-made replica's, which measure around 20cm X 10cm, take three weeks to make and cost over $4,000 (USD). Kerr says the cost is high because the process is very time consuming. He starts by taking pictures of the actual building or structure and then painstakingly creates the mold. Giant chocolate machines then pour different flavored and colored chocolates onto the molds. The details of the house(s) or structure are then intricately hand-carved and placed on them.

While these custom pieces are great to look at (and probably taste great too!), they are beyond the reach of most ordinary people.

For them, the company also has over 200 other unique chocolate creations that are reasonably priced, and almost as beautiful to look at.
