No matter how much you love toast, would you want to be a 'Toasty Face'? And by that we don't mean a warm face, but one that's actually made from toast! That's what Sandra Whitfield encountered when she walked into Warrington Parr Hall in Cheshire, England.

It turns out that this 'piece of art' was a birthday card from her daughter-in-law, Laura Hadland, who not only wanted to give Sandra a unique birthday gift for her 50th birthday, but also, enter mobile phone company HTC's challenge asking people what they could do if they got all their Facebook friends together.

So, the 27-year-old museum curator got hold of a photo of her mother-in-law and 40 of her Facebook friends and created the world's largest toast mosaic.

It took Laura and her friends, six hours and 9,582 slices of bread, browned to various degrees using nine toasters, to create the 32ft. 8in. by 42ft. 3in. masterpiece. But it was well worth it - For not did she impress and please her mother-in-law, but also, the folks at Guinness Book of Records for creating the world's largest toast mosaic. We wonder what Laura will do when Sandra turns 100!
