Roscoe was an underfed stray Blue Tick Hound roaming the grounds of an animal sanctuary in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina when he met its animal ambassador - An Orangutan named Suriya.

It was friendship at first sight! Suryia immediately went over and took Roscoe under her wings, and the two have been inseparable since. They now spend any free time they have, swimming, taking walks or just hanging out together. On days they feel lazy, they ride aboard the sanctuary's 27-year old elephant "Bubbles".

Thanks to their unusual friendship, the duo are not only You Tube stars but also television celebrities, appearing on a recent Oprah Winfrey show based on 'Amazing Animal Friendships'. It is rumored that they may even be featured in an upcoming National Geographic show.
