DOGO [doh-GOH] means young or small in Swahili. While our young fans may be small, they act BIG as they engage with our websites and express their opinions on the content that interests and inspires them.


DOGOnews.com - The leading source for current events, news and non-fictional content for Common Core ELA, Science and Social Studies. With thousands of news articles and new original content added daily, we are the leading online source of current events for students, teachers and schools.

DOGObooks.com The largest website for book reviews by-and-for kids. It is where kids discover, review and share their thoughts about books. All reviews are moderated and books are available for purchase through our affiliate partners.

DOGOmovies.comThe go-to website for kids to discover movies, watch trailers and express their opinions. DOGOmovies.com features only G, PG or PG-13 movies and all reviews are moderated.

Additionally, kids and teachers can maximize their DOGO experience across our websites through:

iDOGO – Makes learning fun and interactive by allowing kids to create custom avatars, link to peers and earn rewards for reading and expressing their opinions.

DOGOteachers – Enables educators to easily integrate real world topics into the classroom learning experience by customizing our content to suit their curriculum, pace, and style. Teachers can choose from thousands of non-fictional articles categorized by curriculum standards, create reading lists and maintain reading logs.


Meera Dolasia – CEO, Publisher & Editor

Meera defines and sets the overall strategy of DOGO Media. Prior to founding the Company, Meera had a successful career in finance at Seneca Capital Management, SKBA Capital Management and Bankers Trust. Meera holds a BSc in Financial Services from the University of Manchester and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Rupen Dolasia – VP Business Development

Rupen leads DOGO's business partnership initiatives. Prior to joining DOGO Media, Rupen founded MXPLAY INC., a social media company that grew to over 1.5 million users within 18 months and was acquired. Prior to that, he was founding partner of Granite Ventures and H&Q Ventures, and invested in technology companies. Rupen has a BSEE from UMass and an MBA from UCLA.

Patty Carfora – VP Advertising Sales

Patty manages advertising sales for DOGO Media. Prior to DOGO, Patty was Director of Sales at Roblox and Stardoll. Patty has also worked with Girls Life Magazine, Girlslife.com and National Geographic Kids Magazine. Patty holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross.
