The book Milkweed is about a little Jewish boy who lives on the streets of Warsaw after his parents were kidnapped by Nazis. The Nazis hate Jews and are after them all the time to catch them and kill them or keep the Jews as slaves. The little boy who lives all alone finds a friend named Uri who takes care of the boy and protects him. There all alone until they find an orphanage that is willing to take them in as apart of there family of orphans. From then on they have to steal food to survive, will they? Milkweed aims for kids 9-13 and I rate this book 4 stars.
