This book really took me by suprise. It is a soft love story that takes place, in of course, a garden. Princess Adela is not the kind of Princess most people want her to be, she would rather spend time in the soil than in her duties. When her closest friend, the gardener, Garth, she comes along and discovers a couple secrets considering their hostess, Lady Hortensia. Let's just say, don't judge a flower by it's cover. After Adela manages to escape, she can't seem to stop thinking about the black bird, whom she restored to his human form. Equally odd, he feels the same way. THis novel is a good read that is a mystery, an adventure, and a soft love story.

The Adventures of Captain Underpants is exactly that, the adventure of Captain Underpants and his two friends George and Harold. George and Harold are ina lot a fun with their new superhero they created in their treehouse, but things really start to get tricky when they decide to play a prank on their principal...

Considering this is a non-fiction book, it is harder to review. So, let me just tell you why this book is a good read. It was short, buyt straight to the point. It acually puts out some really interesting stories an d facts bout ALL of our U.S presidents. Even if you aren't a non-fiction person (like me) you will still find some tall tales in theis book that are in fact true. I reccomend this book to anyone who would want to learn about our presidents from somewhere other than a huge wikipedia article (that arent always true) or a fat auto/bibliography.

Eddie Red is a fun little book with a special little boy. Edmund has a photographic memory and attends a gifted school with his best friend, who can be a liitle off the walls at times. When money get's tight, Edmund looks out for a job to stay at his school. When Edmund becomes an eye witness for a crime, things start to look sunny and he gets a job to draw the criminals. But Eddie Red wants to solve the case. Is he just a camera and nothing else? Is someone unsuspected in on it? Will Eddie get to go his school after all? Find out in this not so everyday adventure.

What really spiked my interest for this book was the aspect that the characters are descendents of mythical Gods: Loki and Thor. matthew Thorsen has some big shoes to fill, with his father being sheriff, and he finally gets his chance he is chosen as champion, to represent Thor himself. Loki's wolves is an adventurous tale that really reminded me of Rick Riorden's "The Kane Kronicles" and the "Percy Jackson" series. It was really great to read about normal kids who are called to fullfill destiny and fight. I really do reccomend this book to fantasy lovers.

I would love to win this book because National Geographic will give a chance to learn during this summer, but it will still be interesting.
