    1. Other countries marched to show their support for France. The banners, shirts, and posters are to show how they are against what happened during the terrorism. 2. Charlie Hebdo was targeted because the magazine publishers that worked for had pictures mocking Saddam Hussein. The terrorist that invaded the publishers are Cherif and Said Kouachi who were involved with the Al Qaeda group. 3. The other terrorist was Amedy Coulibally. Amedy killed an unarmed police officer who was responding to a traffic incident in the southern Paris suburbs of Montrouge. He also barricaded a Kosher supermarket and killed four people. Charlie Hebdo was determined to show that the magazines could publish what ever they wanted. They did this by publishing a picture of Saddam Hussein holding a "Je Suis Charlie" sign.

    1. It was impossible to think that the kiwi and the African elephant bird were related because of the huge difference of size. 2. The scientists thought that the small kiwi bird was related to the Koa. 3.The researchers believe that the tiny birds could not have walked even when Madagascar and New Zealand were part of the giant southern landmass of Godwana. That's because the countries were still separated by the large landmasses of Australia and Antarctica. This has led them to conclude that the kiwis were once capable of flying. They believe that by the time the bird's ancestors arrived in New Zealand, the now extinct Moa, another flightless bird that was endemic to the country, had already established itself as the largest terrestrial herbivore. In order to survive kiwis remained small.

    1. Beachbot is a little robot that looks like a turtle. Disneys Zurich lab and some students from a University in Zurich. Beachbot uses a rake to make his art work in the sand. 2. Beachbot has an excellent " brain " that sends little algorithms that are easy and simple for him to follow. He also has a laser that tells him where to color. He can draw up 30 feet by 30 feet. 3. Beachbot is not autonomous and still needs manual tweaking. They want future Beachbots to be able to erase their own work, be able to paint entire shore lines, and do amazing snow work.

    1. They think that because we are consuming the candy at a faster pace than farmers can grow cocoa. 2. What has caused the supply drop was a prolonged drought in the West African countries of Ivory Coast and Ghana, where more than 70 percent of the world's cocoa is produced. The solution they are trying is to increase supply with trees that can produce up to seven times the amount of cocoa beans. 3. The demand for chocolate went up because the growing appetite for dark chocolate, which contains more than 70 percent cocoa compared to normal chocolate that has a paltry 10 percent. Experts believe that if consumption continue at this pace, cocoa deficits could swell to one million metric tons by 2020 and to an even more worrisome, two million metric tons, by 2030.

    1. It is different because the cars can drive themselves. What was missing in the 2014 prototype was it still had a few manual controls and was also missing essentials like headlights. In the December it was different because it had a little more advanced with features. Google hopes to manufacture the Mercedes F015. 2.Mercedes is tiring to manufacture a car that has a smooth and streamlined roof, a flat front windscreen, and touch screen interior walls, and swiveling front chairs that allow passengers to turn around and face the backseat passengers while the car is still in motion. They are going to make steering wheel and brakes, allowing the driver some control in case of a software malfunction. 3. The challenges are the task of testing their autonomous vehicles in snow, heavy rain, and extreme weather conditions, which may not be an easy thing to do given that the currently available remote sensing technology systems do not do particularly well in foul weather.
