I really started commenting in earnest on Nat Geo in just the last two years, because of the limited time I have with dogo due to overwhelming homework- I used to do exclusively book reviews, but I try hard to make my reviews quality material, which often takes two to write, as I like to rough draft, edit, sleep on it, make final edits and only then post.About 3 years agoarmcginn replied to a comment in

I would recommend these historical fiction books: For Middle school and up I would recommend The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, The Perfect Horse: The Daring U.S. Mission to Rescue the Priceless Stallions Kidnapped by the Nazis by Elizabeth Letts, Unbroken By Laura Hillenbrand, SGT. Reckless by Robin Hutton, Gone With The Wind by Margret Mitchell, Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson, Ghost Riders by Mark Felton, Don't Give Up, Don't Give in By Louis Zamperini, The Librarian of Auschwitz by Antonio Iturbe, and The Boys in the Boat by Gregory Mone. For Elementary School readers, I'd recommend Little House On The Prarie, The Island Of The Blue Dolphins, The War That Saved My Life, Anne of Green Gables, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Black Beauty, and Carolynn Kenne's Nancy Drew. Hope This Helped!Over 3 years ago
