Do you like adventure, suspense, and action? Then Horizon: Deadzone is for you. Quick background story: A plane heading to China unexpectedly crashes. There are no survivors except for 8 singled-out kids who find themselves in a hybrid, alien-like place where nothing makes sense. It's survival, and they must work together. Now, in Horizon: Deadzone we start as the now 7 kids (self-named Team Killbot) travel through a blazing hot, sandy desert where the sand will swallow you up if even one tiny drop of liquid falls onto the sand. Will the group of survivors get closer to finding a way out of this crazy place? Or will the treacherous sand get the best of them all? This book was a really exciting addition to the suspenseful Horizon series! I loved how the author was descriptive and she shaped the characters very well.
