Imagine a fence built around your entire town where zombies roam the periphery. Rot and Ruin is a zombtastic book! The main character is learning that the job of vampire hunter is more cruel than he expected. Dystopia at its best. These kids must at least TRY to get out of Ember before the food and power completely run out. THis book taught me how to be a better person. Auggie is the anti-hero who we all fall madly in love with! Our class read this book and I am not shy to say that I cried in front of them a few times. At first you feel desparately sorry for Auggie, but in the end you feel more sorry for anyone who cannot see the power of love and friendship.Almost 11 years ago
