Yes, I have read the book and there is a boy that acted like a boy. It is not anything about racism. I am not sure if you are allowed to know about this, but this book isn't at all innapropriate. Personally, I believe that it isn't at all since it is based off of real life society. The boy wasn't acting LIKE a boy. This boy was just married to someone other than a girl. I do not think that this is wrong. But, many people say otherwise. In the beginning of the book with Connor's birthday, the author talked about his son. That is the part.

I REALLY want this book because it seems interesting and sounds like a book I would like. I tried searching this book up and found out that it was super new. I really hope to win this book, and donate it to my class. Thank you for your consideration!!!
