This is a great book! It takes place 19 years after the battle of Hogwarts. It is about Harry’s son, Albus, and Draco’s son, Scorpius. They are best friends. They meet a girl , who is a “Diggory”. They go back in time to save her “cousin”. She ends up not being a Diggory. She is just trying to to get her dad back. I won’t spoil who is her dad, but it is a great book. It is set up as a play, and that bothered my friend, but it didn’t bother me. It’s a awesome book. 5 stars for sure.

The Dragonet Prophecy is about 5 dragonets that are destined to stop the war on who will be the Sandwing queen. There are 6 deferent dragon tribes- Sandwings, Nightwings, Seawings, Mudwings, Rainwings, and Skywings. The 5 dragonets of the prophecy got token from their nest before they hatched, and was hid under the mountain for 6 years. Clay the Mudwing, Sunny the Sandwing, Glory the Rainwing, Starflight the Nightwing, and Tsunami the Seawing all hatched on the same night, but Clay was the first. The older dragons in the cave that take care of them thought Clay tried to kill the others as a baby, but breaking the other eggs is what all Mudwings do to help the other dragonets get out of the eggs. The 6 dragonets have never been outside the cave because the older dragons will not trust that they won’t run away. So, 2 years before they are supposed to, they run away. They run into Queen Scarlet, Queen of the Skywings. She captures them and take them to her prison. Queen Scarlet makes her prisoners fight each other, just for her enjoyment. Clay makes friends with a dragon named Peril, who’s skin is basically made of fire. Glory is used as “artwork”, Sunny is kept locked away, but Starflight, Clay, and Tsunami has to face the Arena where the dragons fight. They all survive, and try to escape. Eventually they do, and they visit the Mudwing kingdom. They find Clay’s mom, but she doesn’t want him. They also find Clay’s siblings. Clay is tempted to stay with them, but they leave. The dragonets plan to visit the Seawing kingdom next. I think that anyone who likes adventure would really like this series.

hermione831's book review was featured in The World Ends in April.
The World Ends in April is an AWESOME book! It also helps that it is written by my favorite author, Stacy McAnulty. It is about a girl named Eleanor Dross, who only has one friend- Mack. Mack is a boy who is blind. Ele’s grandpa is a preppier. A preppier is someone who prepares for the end of the world. He has been preparing Ele and her siblings for the end of the world since they could walk. So when he heard that Ele found a website predicting the end of the world, he got real excited. Ele’s dad doesn’t really like that their grandpa takes them out of the house to practice for an alien invasion. Ele plans not to tell anyone about the end of the world, (after all, what friends will she save?) but Mack tells everyone that will listen. Ele starts a club called the Nature Club, but it is really a survival club. A girl named Londyn joins the club, (a girl who Ele claims she tried to take her head off with a basketball) and makes Ele use a water purifier and drink toilet water. If you want to know what happens in Ele’s last couple months until TEOTWAWKI (the end of the world as we know it) read the book. I think you will like this book if you liked The Miscalculations of Lighting Girl.

hermione831's book review was featured in The Griffins of Castle Cary.
The Griffins of Castle Cary is a great book. It is a ghost story, but it is too scary. It is about 3 children who go and stay with their aunt for end of term break. Their aunt lives in a old cottage that is haunted. Ariel, the youngest, Meeks friends with the ghost. Meg and Will are the two older ones and they go adventure the old manor that is a touring spot because it is haunted. Ten a few day later, Ariel goes to the ghost ‘birthday party’, and she falls down a old well. Meg climbs down and saves her, but she goes to the hospital because she sprained her ankle . At the hospital, the manor ghost finds her, and starts to hurt her. Meg and Will bring her back to the cottage, thinking that the manor ghost will follow Ariel and the manor ghost will meet the ghost at the cottage, then the ghosts can be friends and don’t need Ariel any more. This is a great book. I think you should read it because it is funny and a little scary at the same time.
