One of my favorite movies of 2017 so far! I saw had seen countless advertisements and commercials prior to this movie, and was eager to watch it after seeing the strong female cast - and I'm so glad I did. The story centers around three women living in a time when African-Americans and whites were segregated. They are all very intelligent and work at NASA, as "computers", where they solve complex math problems by hand. It takes place during the time of the space race, when the Apollo missions were being conducted and shows the three women behind the scenes that greatly contributed to the success of the missions but go no recognition. I would highly recommend this movie because it was very influential and inspiring!Over 7 years agoborntoswimliked a comment in Sing.
