I think that this book had the most unique storyline out of all the Man vs Man books (including Alex Rider books) that I have ever read. The thing that was so great was because in all Man vs Man books, the antagonist despises the protagonists and wants to kill him or her. But in this book it is the opposite. Major Sarov refuses to kill Alex Rider no matter what happens even threatening to whip him but he couldn't get the heart to do it. He had a super evil plan that made me hate him but at the same time I didn't hate him because he was still able to love. As I said, this was probably not the best book in the series but it definitely had the most unique storyline. Again Anthony Horowitz makes an action filled novel that I just couldn't put down. It was also the first book where Alex worked with the CIA.

This book was again a really amazing great book. What happened was Alex was in Paris with his friend Sabina. But things go wrong very quickly when he spots Yassen Gregorovitch, the man who killed his uncle. He goes to investigate and suddenly finds a phone which Damian Cray answers, concluding that something bad is happening. Something really bad. He goes to tell MI6 but they turn him down, saying Damian Cray has no bad files and nothing negative about him, making it so that they couldn't help him or do anything about it. Alex then decides to save the world himself, with no gadgets aside from a bike that Smithers gave him. This book was very breathtaking and of course, it was so good that I just couldn't put it down. Many books have an amazing great beginning but horrible 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc books, but I this series was able to keep me interested for every book. This book was also great because Alex didn't have any small gadgets with him, making it so that he couldn't have any miraculous escape attempts, making it even more thrilling.

To me this was when the real storyline of Alex Rider begins. It is when he finds out about his family history and what his father really was and what SCORPIA is. To me all of the other books were like warm ups, getting you ready for the original. At the end of Eagle Strike, Yassen Gregorovitch tells him to go to Venice, Italy and find "SCORPIA". He listens to him and proceeds to Venice with Tom Harris, his best friend and suddenly finds himself getting tricked to work for SCORPIA by Julia Rothman, the main antagonist. I like how he was finally able to find out more about his father and how Anthony Horowitz again managed to make the book so amazingly realistic with such good details that must of had required a lot of research. It was also very long, so luckily since I couldn't put the book down, there was a lot to read.

I think that this book was amazinly unpredictable. At the beginning I thought he was facing the antagonist group called "Force Three" and he was going to kill Kaspar, their leader. But things took a huge turn as I found out Drevin was the real bad guy after the CIA told him that he couldn't bring him into the USA because his passport was outdated. I also liked how Drevin's plan wasn't so major like killing a million kids, but something way more minor. And when Alex had to go to space, the experience seemed so real, Anthony Horowitz must of had worked so hard and had so many interviews to make that scene. This was once again an amazing detailed book that probably took a lot of work to make it not super miraculous but instead more like real life.

This was again another action packed book and I would strongly recommend it to people who like action movies or just need a good book to read. This was another book about Scorpia, so Alex once again learns about his past life. He and his godfather Ash get disguised to get smuggled as refugees by the Snakehead and try to find out what Scorpia is planning. I liked how the main antagonist, Major Winston Yu was so genius and planned out his scary plan and how it was perfect timing. I also thought that Anthony Horowitz developed the characters very well, for example Cloudy, she was only in a few pages but it was so easy to find out a lot about her character. This was once more a classic novel made by Anthony Horowitz and like always, the criminal mastermind plan was completely different from all of the others.

This book had probably the most dangerous plan planned by the antagonist in the whole series, maybe even worse than Damian Cray's plan. It is about a charity CEO, named Desmond Mccain, who is a man who created the charity "First Aid", which was the first charity to help the countries with disasters in them. But he is also a ruthless monster, he created the disasters just so he could get the money, and realizing that he could get 200 million from the disaster featured in this book, he almost ended the world but luckily Alex Rider once again comes in and fights against him. I liked how Desmond Mccain, since he was famous he wasn't extremely short or different than on the magazine, TV, etc. He was actually 7 feet tall and he wasn't shy at all. To me this book had the most dangerous planned disaster and I was really scared that Alex wasn't going to prevent it all from happening. I loved it a ton and it was a 100% charming book that I would recommend to people who love action.

This was the final book (not counting the prequel) of the Alex Rider series. And I thought it was really, unmeasurably awesome. I liked how the author wrote a beginning of 112 pages without 1 word in Alex's perspective and it had such an amazing plan but for such a minor thing. The main antagonist Razim was even smarter than the Winston Yu man from Snakehead and he was going to set him up. Scorpia was able to record everything that Alex did and then kill him, showing that Great Britain was using a teenage spy and how he got killed in action. This would disgrace the British government so much that nobody would want to work with them. I think that this was an amazing final and I loved how he got totally set up by Scorpia and that they were way ahead of him. It was an unpredictable book and also my favorite of all of the Alex Rider series because of it's intensity.

I thought this book was really good and I was very amazed how Anthony Horowitz still managed to make it good even though it was in a completely different perspective. I also thought that it was cool how Yassen was the hero and once actually had emotion. What happens is that his hometown, Estrov gets destroyed. He escapes to Moscow where he begins a life of crime with some new friends but quickly came to an end when he got kidnapped by a man named Vladimir Sharkovsky. He managed to escape and found Scorpia and Julia Rothman and gets trained in Malagasto. I thought that Anthony developed Yassen super well and we got to learn a lot about him. It makes me like Yassen more than before because I use to dislike him. It made me appreciate him and it also made me realize why he became such an emotionless killer. I felt that he is a good man inside or at least he was once a good man. But this was an action packed awesome novel that I loved and finished very quickly.

I thought this was a really great book and it really made me think different about Julian and his mother. It was also cool that Raquel Palacio included Christopher and Charlotte, who we didn't know much about and were the more undeveloped characters in the Wonder book. I learned that Julian wasn't so bad after all and that I should first think in someone else's perspective before thinking about them. This was one of the rare books that I just couldn't put down and it was a total classic to me. It was one of the best books that I had ever read and I thought it was amazing how Raquel Palacio was able to write up at least 100 pages for each character.
