Hatchet is a best selling novel that gives insight on what it looks and feels like to live in the wild. I think Gary Paulson wasn't just trying to teach reader like you and me about the wild, but the importants of family. In the book the main character gives insight about his family struggles, and some of these can hit close to home for you.Over 4 years agoshe_is_a_ruby has read this book.

This novel is one of the best novels. I love it and i highly recommend it if you can handle bloody (violent) books. It is so much better than the movie.Over 4 years ago

Copper Sun is one of my favorite novels. From the story line to the character building. You feel what the characters feel. I also really enjoy how it has two points of view. The indentured servant and the slave. It is a sad realization of history and humanity. But i highly recommend it.Over 4 years agoitz_bella added a book review.
