This was Carl Hiaasen's 4th Eco themed book. I read all the previous books except Scat. I loved this book. This book is just as hilarious and funny as all the other books. I didn't like the part when Wahoo's father is shot in the but he tells his son to lie to his mom and tell her that the animals got to it. I think that we should promote honesty and not lie. Overall, the story was entertaining and I think that younger readers will laugh and enjoy themselves.

I really loved this book. It reminded me of all of my friends and the bonds we made with each other throughout all of the hardships and challenges we faced in life, whether in school, outside school, on a trip or something. This book really reminded me of how important friendship was and how to keep it. When you need company you can't always turn to your books for company, you need to have real friends to guide you, comfort you, make jokes and most importantly, be there for you. I would recommend this book to others. Enjoy!

Douglas, the Dad in the story is a character you would want for a Dad. Truly loving his daughter and trying to make good, the things that are going wrong in her life. He is a trooper and the real hero in the story. I loved the imagination he had to design a summer trip and to take Sway to the people to help them. Cass really matures on the trip and is able to work through those things that are stressful in a young girls life, especially in realizing that your Mom is not coming back to the family. This story touched my heart deeply and the magic in it was just beautiful. I would recommend this book to others! Have fun reading!

The cover caught my eye. I thought it was going to be a boring old book like many of the other books I read but I decided to give this book a try and read it. After reading the book, I was speechless. This book was awesome!! It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Loved it! I would recommend this book to others!! Enjoy!

Basically there is a creepy school made from destroyed parts from a giant mansion. Two living boys and one dead girl figure out the plan of a sinister owner and try to stop him. During the process 2 girls go missing as the boys and girl find out a way to travel to the mansion using portals. many people go missing or do unnatural not unusual things. A carnivorous teacher, missing students, and different dimensions! If you want to know more read this book and all of it's sequels.
