shivi483's movie review was featured in Dora and the Lost City of Gold.
To be honest when I first saw the trailer of this movie I thought this will be bad but being asked by a younger sister to watch this movie as it's her childhood. I couldn't say no. The movie was good. It was a movie allowing viewers to take a journey with Dora in who spent most of her life exploring the lands of the jungle as an explorer which is her blood from parents. It confronts the true bond of the young explorers Diego and Dora have as cousins exploring the jungle together but not discovering the outside world. Moving on to a summary of the movie, Dora's parent's goal is to explore the Lost City of Gold known as Parapata however didn't allow Dora to explore with them as she's very clumsy and tell her to explore the outside world instead of Jungle and go explore the world of middle school with her cousin Diego who left the jungle 12 years ago. Dora's life wasn't easy, she was confused, wasn't able to fit in as she's different but very smart. Until one day they went to a museum excursion and Dora gets captured together as these trackers want to find Dora's parents to explore the city of Parapatta with Diego, Her and a rag tan of teenagers named Sammy and Randy. The movie takes you to an adventure allowing you to relay and apply the acts of survival and explore the world of the jungle. The movie is good for all ages.-Highly recommend

I originally had to read this book as a summer assignment for a class, but once I opened it, I simply couldn't put it down. From the start, you're immersed in O'Brien's world. At the time, he's a young man with his whole life ahead of him, sent to fight in the war in Vietnam. Through each of his stories, you're able to paint a picture of everyone he knew, the ones they loved and the ones they lost. Perhaps one of the most accurate depictions of life as a war veteran and an eye-opening recollection on American values, 'The Things They Carried' will make you experience a wide range of emotions, all the while rejuvenating your inner sense of patriotism.
