So glad to see Annabeth continue to stand out, but not just as the smart daughter of Athena!

Percy has matured, and things have changed. I love the mythology twist of this series!

Enter the Roman myths, mix it with Greek myths, and welcome a new experience. Love that Rick Riordan takes mythology and modernizes it!

Read this book aloud with my daughter and we are continuing the series. It is a fun way to introduce chapter books to younger girls and tweens. Based on the Monster High dolls you can almost play along as you read!

I love this book and if you are anti-romance this is one of the more recent series that is not too mushy. Once you pick this book up your hooked!

This book was a bit of a slow start, but does not disappoint true Hunger Games fans! The ending is a different twist.

A Lord of the Rings style world with X-men type powers. What more can a sci-fi/fantasy fan wish for!

This is a sister book to Graceling. Read in whatever order you want. Fire takes a look at another at a world not unlike that found in Narnia or Lord of the Rings. I love that in this novel the character Fire has powers that are unique to her particular kind of monster!

A must read if you like Graceling or Fire, but you must read both of these books before reading Bitterblue. This is a great YA reader. Should definitely be read by high school and up. I would not recommend for junior high.
