This book was strange but interesting. Six friends are Prince Warriors, traveling to a different dimension and following the guidance of a hooded figure to fight against evil. In this book, the warriors are givens "shields", red seeds that seem useless, and one of them is possessed by a robotic silver bug, that is setting up the invasion of robotic ants knowns as Ents.

This was a really good book, though I felt it was a little long. Addison Cooke is a kid growing up in a family of archeologists. He spends his hours reading books, and says the names of infamous people instead of curse words. When his uncle and aunt are kid napped by an evil doctor and his mafia, who want to use a newly discovered key to steal Incan treasure. Addison, his athletic sister Molly, his neighbor and danger loving friend Raj, his neighbor and Spanish speaking friend Eddie will head to South America to save the Cookes and possibly acquire treasure. This book was really funny at some moments and Addison was an interesting character.

This book was really interesting. Silly and dim-witted Shelly and pessimist Jonathan are "unexceptionals", meaning that almost no one remembers them. They have been sent to Great Britain to work with child agents in stopping LIQ-30, a dangerous virus, from infecting anyone. The suspect of the LIQ-30 thief is Nina, a rogue environmentalist. Will the unexceptionals stop LIQ-30 before it is too late? Or will they get infected, and soon forgotten by everyone.

penguin313's book review was featured in Hamster Princess: Harriet the Invincible.
This book was a cute play on Sleeping Beauty. Harriet is cursed to fall into sleep until a prince kisses her, but since she has to be alive on her twelfth birthday and is protected until the curse occurs, she goes around slaying monsters and abusing her invincibilities. On her twelfth birthday, however, the curse backfires and puts everyone in the castle but Harriet and her quail to sleep, meaning now they all need a prince to kiss them. This book had a good sense of humor throughout and nice twists on the classic tale.
