The record breaking pizza is a six month-long Universal Exhibition that is currently going on in Milan, Italy, were in for a special treat. Raffaele Esposito is who held the title before Italy. Their pie was 1.59545 kilometers or just under a mile, the delicious pie that extended across 800 tables handily surpassed the previous record holder - a 1.1415-kilometre-long pizza made by Spanish chefs in 2011. 80 chefs were involved in the making of the pizza. According to the legend, the chef came up with three creations - one that included garlic, another that was sprinkled with anchovies and a third whose toppings were picked to resemble the Italian flag - red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil). The reason why the effort was worthwhile is that it was made to commemorate the 126th birthday of the classic margherita pie. The pizza was called "marghertita" because There is some dispute about whether Esposito invented the recipe or adapted it from a similar one in Francisco DeBouchard's 1866 book "Customs and Traditions of Naples." The significance of the three toppings was the Italian flag. I would select pineapple, pepperoni, and ham because I always eat those kind of pizza's from pizza places.

    1. The record breaking pizza was 1.1415-kilometre-long pizza. Milan had the title before Italy had it. Their pie was 1.59545 kilometers or just under a mile. 2. It took 80 of Italy's finest chefs to make the pizza. The ingredients that were used are tomato, mozzarella, and basil. 3. The effort was worthwhile because the pizza was the world's largest pizza in the world. The pizza was named margherita because the Queen did not care too much for the first two, she loved the third pizza prompting to the chef. The significance of the three topics was to resemble the Italian flag. Critical Thinking Challenge: If I were asked to create a pizza for the leader or country I would use pepperoni, mozzarella, and basil because it's the Mexico flag.
