So, as a fellow Brace-Face (for three years now!) I totally understand the struggles that Raina is going through. As I'm on my way to my Junior Year of Highschool, (Yay!) I can relate to a lot of aspects of this book. I love comic books, and her style is great! I have read this book, Sisters, and Ghosts, and I loved all of them! She is a great story teller and she deserves all the praise she's gotten and more! If you like her stuff I have two recommendations! These are a little more action-y but I loved them. You should read Feathers and Newsprints. Both were great comics with great morals AND great art! I went to an early screening of this movie last night and it was amazing. You should absolutely go see it. (When it comes out anyway!) I have been a big fan of this book for a while and I FLIPPED when the trailer came out. I love video games and movies so this book was a jackpot. I will warn anyone who has read the book and wants to see the movie. It is NOT a exact replica of the book! Don't go into it with that mindset! The premise is still the same. Wade, Aech, Art3mis, Halliday's Egg, Nolan Sorrento, The Sixers, they're all still there! But the challenges have been changed for a wider audience, (So 10-year-olds don't have to be confused as to every eighties reference.) and the aesthetic of the OASIS is tuned to a slightly more modern selection of viewers. I also loved I-Rok's new role. (NO spoilers for you! ) I am NOT saying this movie sucked because of the changes made. If anything I am saying the opposite! The book is still better, (Like most book to movie adaptations.) but the movie is amazing. I expected nothing less from Speilberg and his amazing team. The actors, score, and visuals were phenomenal and I cant wait to go back to find the millions (And I mean MILLIONS!) of easter eggs and references in this movie! Kudos to you, Speilberg! My Rating/Award- Five Stars and Best Video Game Movie I've Ever Seen!About 6 years agosammckenney added a movie review.

I think that this movie shows if you slap an Emoji sticker on it and put it in theaters, no matter what, some 5-year-old will beg their parent to take them to see it, and call it the best movie ever. This movie is a shallow cash-grab by Sony that shouldn't have made it out of someone's head, let alone the board room! The audience that liked really shows how fall the standards for entertainment have fallen. If you can compare this movie to.... I don't know.....ANYTHING by Disney (Except for Disney Channel.) and say that they're tied, I feel sorry for you. You need to put down your phone and find something seriously worth watching. If you need a suggestion, maybe look at any of my reviews, or stuff by misstechie04. But please, for your own sake. DON'T watch this movie My Rating/Award- 0 Stars and Saddest Excuse For A MovieAbout 6 years agosammckenney added a book review.
