I think indigenous people day because they should treat indigenous people right too cause they were their first and there should be an indigenous holiday today too.

I think that we should celebrate the indigenous day not columbus day

I believe we should celebrate Columbus Day because of his finding for England. Even though Columbus didn’t plan to come across America, he proved his point to England that the earth is round not flat to where you can fall off the edge if you go far enough. With that said, Columbus Day should be celebrated instead of Indigenous People day. What did the indigenous people do anyway?

I mean, Columbus had some mixed up beliefs. I'd say change it but have it "Indigenous People's day (formerly Columbus day)" on calendars so they know where it came from. Nobody should have to be a slave because (1 we're all created equal (2 so what about skin color? (3 everyone should have respect no matter what and at least try to understand. (4 it don't matter where you people come from, you're a human.

I don't know why people celebrate Columbus Day. It was a terrible day for the Native Americans!
