The Ultimate Book of Sharks is filled with amazing facts and pictures! Every page you see in this book is guaranteed with a new fact, a new picture, and color. I was not interested in sharks that much, but when I read this book I was amazed by the pictures of these beautiful sharks. I also was very interested in the facts, and this is actually the first time I've picked up a shark book in 3 years. This National Geographic book is one of the best I've probably read so far. I rate it 5/5 and recommend it to ages 7-16.Almost 6 years agoswirlycool added a book review.
The Sword of Summer is by Rick Riordan, who you probably know is the author of the Percy Jackson series. The cover of the book is AMAZING, and I picked it up and started reading it in no time. I will admit, the chapter names are very interesting but I love it! I hate how Rick Riordan put a cliffhanger on the end of this book, but that's the reason I love it and why I was excited to read the next book of this series (which was also great!!). I like this series better than the other Greek mythology series that Rick Riordan has written, and I'm excited to read the next book in this series if he makes another one. I rate this book 5/5, and recommend it to ages 9-16.Almost 6 years agoswirlycool added a book review.

The National Geographic Kids Almanac 2018 is not only filled with interesting facts but is also very colorful! Every page in this book is filled with pictures and facts! By looking at the cover of this book, I was very interested and flipped through the pages. I wasn't surprised with all the color and facts in the book on every page because you would know that National Geographic books are all like this. I think that everyone will enjoy this no matter what age you are. I read this book with my mom and we were both very interested. I rate this almanac 4/5 and recommend it for any age, but target it at second through 8th graders.Almost 6 years agoswirlycool added a book review.
This book is about an author who was walking to an appointment when 2 gentlemen got into his way. They asked him for the book he was working on. The author said they needed to be more specific. One of the men said that he is old and he doesn't hear right. The author got his walking stick and used it to hit him in the cheek. Right then one of the men shot the author and stole his book. The author got help though, but the thieves got away with it! Now they have to get the book back someway, but in the mean time it's going to be about Emily, a girl whose family is having an adventure of trying to live in every state of the U.S. They are moving to California. Emily once loved it, to experience new places. Then they were in traffic. When they finally arrived, they started claiming rooms of the new place they would live in. Later, they start talking about the author, who's name is Garrison Grisworld. When Emily heard that James met him, she was so surprised because she wanted to meet him real bad. Then James mentioned he didn't show up somewhere when he was suppose to. Then Emily got all worried, but then James told her that they just found out that he didn't disappear, he was in the hospital. Will Emily help Garrison Grisworld find the thieves that stole his book?Almost 6 years ago
