It's cool that they made use of an old salt mine like this. If people did this all the time, "recycling" places, we wouldn't have to clear out so many animals' habitats.

spinnypeeps's book review was featured in A Week without Tuesday.
This was a really creative book that thought of new ideas no author has ever thought of before- what if authors don't make up their characters? What if... All their thoughts and ideas were really just observations made in some other world? In this thrilling sequel to Finding Serendipity, the land of story is in chaos. It all started with several authors disappearing without a word, then appearing somewhere else in the world without a clue. Tuesday's father banns both her and Serendipity from using their typewriters to protect them, but that's like asking them not to breathe. But what they don't know is that both stories and reality are colliding... And the fate of the world is in Tuesday's hands.

That's supercool- I wonder if you could watch a movie on it! But instead of using all that money to buy cool sneakers, I'd rather save someone's life somewhere or put it to better use.

The premise of this book really interested me, even before I read the book. Various writers are mysteriously disappearing, and then later reappearing a few days later, unharmed, but having no memory of what happened to them. The main character, Tuesday, and her mother, Serendipity, are at a large risk, as they both love writing, and so, Tuesday's father takes away what the love, in a desperate attempt to protect them: writing. Tuesday, unsure of what her life will be like without writing, meets Vivienne, unveiling a dark fear that could permanently alter writers forever.
