George O'Connor is a Greek mythology buff and a classic superhero comics fan, and he's out to remind us how much our pantheon of superheroes (Superman, Batman, the X-Men, etc) owes to mankind's ORIGINAL superheroes: the Greek pantheon.

In OLYMPIANS, O'Connor draws from primary documents to reconstruct and retell classic Greek myths. But these stories aren't sedate, scholarly works. They're action-packed, fast-paced, high-drama adventures, with monsters, romance, and not a few huge explosions. O'Connor's vibrant, kinetic art brings ancient tales to undeniable life, in a perfect fusion of super-hero aesthetics and ancient Greek mythology.

Volume 1 of OLYMPIANS, ZEUS: King OF THE GODS, introduces readers to the ruler of the Olympian Pantheon, telling his story from his boyhood to his ascendance to supreme power. This title has Common Core connections.

Zeus: King of the Gods was a good book in my eyes because I love to read any book by Rick Riordan. I've read all of his books and graphic novels about Greek mythology. My favorite part of this book was when Zeus claimed his birthright and he came back to Kronos and shocked him with his lightning. I really enjoyed reading this book and I am ready to read any other books that are in this series. I can't wait.

I don't like gods. They are just weird. Please enjoy this book and the plot that comes through it. It was ok to me but y'all might have a different opinion.

I did not like it. It had the greek gods in it, but I really wish the story turned out to be like I wished. It's not anything like The Hero's of Olympus series and the Percy Jackson series. I do not recommend this book. Read it if you want to. I'm not going to pressure you. That's my opinion.

This book is part of a series the is written about Greek gods and goddesses. I personally find interest in Greek myths, but did not really like this book. It was sort of inappropriate, and I felt it did not portray the gods and goddesses as gods and goddesses. Read if you must, but beware!

OOOOh this is good keep writing the review you got me hanging on the pages waiting for you to keep writing.
