Woah, this looks like it's seriously fun but it also looks really messy! However, I wonder if using this much of tomatoes would be a waste of food because, even though it is enjoyable, people around the world are not getting enough to eat.Over 8 years agobigmelo added a new comment in
The La Tomatina Festival is a tradition that has been celebrated for 70 years now. I know some of you may think it messy, weird, or even gross, but I think this world would be a better place if we weren't so quick to judge others. I personally think it's okay to state an opinion, but not without having evidence to support it. Anyways, I feel that the most important thing about La Tomatina is the fact that a large group of people in Bunol, Spain; whether visitors or locals, receive the opportunity to experience the most fun they've ever had in a long time. I mean, who doesn't want to get the chance to live in the moment & throw tomatoes at a total stranger? Even if I'm the one acting a little quirky, aren't we all, to some extent, misunderstood? :)Over 8 years agobigmelo added a news bookmark.
