I thought this book was very good. I've read Mac Barnett's previous books and have loved every single one of them. This book is no exception. It is a fun, light read that features an unusual cast of characters. It isn't at all predictable and will leave you guessing until the very end. I absolutely fell in love with Yawnee Valley, the landscape the book was set against, and all of it's people. There are black and white illustrations every few pages or so, and I liked them because it made the books more enjoyable to the reader.

I absolutely adore any Geronimo Stilton graphic novel and this was as enjoyable as the rest. I finished it in a day, so if you are looking for a break between long stories, this is the perfect book for that. I think the reason the Geronimo Stilton books are loved is because they appeal to all audiences. Little children love them and all ages - even adults! - still indulge in them once in a while making it the perfect book for the entire family to pass around!

I'm also part of the advanced reviewer group in DOGOnews - I've been with it since the beginning. I have gotten some of the most popular books, some of the most anticipated reads, before anyone else and completely FREE. It's a great program and I would advise any avid readers to contact the email above^ if you are interested!!!

I think this book is a great read for anyone who likes thriller and mystery novels. The impeccable writing makes the reader feel like they are taking the journey with the main character, Clay Jensen, and going on this emotional roller coaster with him. I would advise older kids to read this book, because it deals with mature themes like suicide and self-harm. One of the best parts of the book, is that it spreads awareness about suicide and helps the reader identify clues of a person who is thinking of committing suicide.

Woah, this book looks really really good. I would like to win this book because lately all the popular books have been dystopias, set in the future, but I rarely see a book set in the past and this book looks very intriguing.
