In a word, The Terrible Two, cowritten by two funny authors and illustrated by another, is clever. The pranks in this book - and off the pages - thrilled me - and made me laugh - with how smart they were! For example - the book comes in a milk carton! {It also comes with your very own mug and another small thing} I was surprised at how much I liked this book, though it is probably best for boys, I thought it was pretty good, myself! An interesting change from the usual stuff I read! :)Over 9 years agomaddyrocks13 has read this book.

I won this book from DogoBooks, and I have to say, it made my whole day. My whole week, even. I'd seen pictures of it before, but I didn't realize how big it was until I saw it in person, and its very awesome. It also has a couple IN COLOR FULL PAGE DRAWINGS (you can see how excited I am about this!). The content is very informative, but doesn't get boring, and though I consider myself a very quick reader, it took me a long time to get through this book, which I loved. It's also narrated by Percy Jackson himself, which adds a little humor to it all. I'd recommend this to girls and guys - anyone 11 or older, simply because of the subject of many of the myths. Very amazing book! ^-^Over 9 years agomaddyrocks13 added a book review.

When this book arrived, it came in a milk carton. Yep, a milk carton from Yawnee Valley. I thought that was really cool because the story is set in Yawnee Valley a place known for one thing and one thing only: cows. When I first started reading this book I didn't really like it, but as I kept reading I started really enjoying the story. The illustrations were fun, and so were the cows. There were pictures on almost every page. The story starts off when Miles (who was a prankster at his old school) moves to Yawnee Valley. On the first day at his new school, he finds out that the school already has a prankster. A very good prankster. (I won't tell you who the prankster is though, you will have to read the book to find out) So Miles has a prank war to see who is the best prankster. (This was my favorite part because I liked reading about all of the pranks they pulled) In the end, they join forces and plan a secret prank. A really big prank. They call themselves "The Terrible Two" but you will have to read the book to find out more. I really enjoyed it and I hope that Mac Barnett makes a second one!Over 9 years agotallguy2 added a book review.

I love love love this book! Beatrice (Tris) has a big decision to make when she turns 16. Though she is currently in Abnegation (selflessness) she may choose to live in Amity (peace) Erudite (brains) Dauntless (bravery) or Candor(honesty) Will she make the right decision, and what will happen next?Over 9 years agomaddyrocks13 added a book review.
Treasure Hunters by Chris Grabenstein, Mark Shulman, and James Patterson tells the story of four teenage "treasure hunters". Bick, Beck, Storm, and Tommy Kidd are left alone at sea after their father disappears in a big storm. In a hidden room on the ship, the kids find three cryptic clues to help them "find their mother". Though this book starts off a little slow and cliche, it quickly picks up. This book is funny and full of adventure. It's a good read for teens and kids, something everyone can enjoy.Over 9 years agomaddyrocks13 added a book review.
Yes! This is a second series, by the same author, following some of the same characters from the series "The Lightening Thief" is from. I highly recommend reading that series, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians", before reading this one. :)Over 9 years ago
