First he made it possible for us mere mortals to book a flight to space aboard his soon to be launched Virgin Galactic Spaceship - Now, Sir Richard Branson, is getting ready to 'fly' us under the deep seas aboard his newly acquired submersible!

The submarine, which has been christened Necker Nymph, is described as a sleek convertible that can be 'flown' underwater. Built to accommodate two passengers and a pilot, it can dive to depths of up to 100ft. and fly at speeds of up to 5 nautical miles for two-hour stretches.

The Necker Nymph which uses downward pressure on its wings to navigate across the water, is built to be buoyant so that it does not land on the delicate reef, ensuring zero impact on the environment. Also, since it glides almost soundlessly, it will keep the fragile ocean waters undisturbed.

Built with a 360-degree open cockpit, the submarine ensures its passengers, an amazing view of the marine life under our seas. Of course, all this does not come cheap.

A weekly rental of this amazing underwater flying machine will set you back $25,000USD. That, however, is just the beginning. In order to rent the Necker Nymph, visitors will first have to rent Sir Branson's Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands for $300,000USD. And, in case they wish to board the submersible off a yacht, the Necker Belle, is available for an additional$88,000USD.

So for those of you who have an extra $400,000USD to spare, have fun - The rest of us will just watch and drool!
