Stella by Starlight by Sharon M. Draper is about a girl named Stella and her journey as a young black girl in town inhabited by the KKK. She has to always be wary, on edge, and faces many hardships and unjust events. Throughout she remains strong and helps support her family through the tough times. I really liked reading this book even though it made me sad to think that this rascism still happens today. It made me wish that everyone could just accept each other and hold each other up like they do in this book. I would reccomend it to lovers of great historical fiction.

I just watched this movie again recently. This book is based on the movies. It is very saddening but also joyful. The cartoon is sadly less known or talked about along with Pinocchio. This is the same thing for the live action and Cinderella live action .

West by Edith Pattou is the second book that comes after the amazing East book. I really enjoyed both of these books and this one especially was just so untterly incredible! I loved the adventure, the courage that the main character, Rose, showed, the excitement, the love and the beauty of the whole story all together. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves amazing stories about journies into the unknown!

West of the Moon by Margi Preus is a really good book that is sort of a play on the folktale "East of the Sun, West of the Moon." It is about two girls who try to run away from their evil goatman master. It's really amazing and I really liked reading it. "I want to do what's right. But how can I, when I am faced with only impossible choices?” ― Margi Preus, West of the Moon

This is another good book in the Pete the Cat series. Pete invites his friends for a pizza party, but everyone puts weird things on the pizza that the group does not think will taste good. There are lots of combinations, but when the gang tastes it, it seems like the best pizza ever. This is a good book that shows us all the true taste of friendship and sharing.

This is a nice book that shows that everybody can accomplish something if they want. One boy in an Indian tribe can not do things other people can do, so he goes up a mountain everyday and tries to paint the sunrise to see the future of everyone. He keeps trying and can never find the right color. Will he ever be able to find the right colors, or will he remain empty-handed everytime.

In this book, it shows that you should always be kind to others. In this book, a seed is planted and when the fruit comes, animals also want it. Then the tree gets damaged in fight and nobody gets the book. Will they ever be able to learn that if they plant a seed of sharing, then everybody will profit? And if you keep fighting, nobody gets profit.

This is a nice book that gives the reader excitement as they listen to Little Mouse's journey. The bear in the story loves to eat a ripe strawberry, but the conflict is that the mouse also wants a strawberry. The mouse has to rush to get everything accomplished- pick strawberry, bring it to his cave, slice it, then eat it. He loves the strawberry and wants to eat it, but with the bear in his way, will he ever be able to do that.
