The book starts out slow but quickly turns into a novel that is filled with suspense, but also makes you go to tears at other times. The book contains countless morals and really teaches you a lot. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone in middle school and higher.

This is series is a fast-paced thriller. I love how Darren Shan is able to keep the suspense for the length of all the books. It is one of my favorite series!
