    1. His total commute is 46 miles. He walks 26 miles each day. He doesn't have a ride, car, and the bus doesn't pass his way. 2. His car died about ten years ago. He doesn't have enough money to pay for a new one. He doesn't want to change his job because he loves his time with his coworkers also if he left he would miss the delicious dinners that his friends wife would bring in for him, every single day also he said that he loves the central Detroit area where he has spent most of his life and could never think of moving elsewhere. 3. They published his story in the Detroit Free Press on February 3rd. They have raised 200,000 USD for him and are hoping he can buy himself a decent car.

    1. Dr. Neil Harrison's research team discovered that the feeling cold is "contagious". They asked a bunch of people to watch videos of people who where cold and they found out that the people's body temperature got lower. 2. In the cold water video all of the people's hand temperature decreased, but in the hot control videos nothing happened to the people's hands. 3. When the people saw the ice in the bowl their bodies reacted more. You can't really see the hot water but you can see the ice cubes in the cold water videos. People are more empathetic for people who are cold than hot.

1.they discovered that the feeling cold is ''contagious''. They asked people to watch videos of people who were cold and discovered that the people's body temperature got lower. 2) there body temperature was lowered. the same was not true with the other temperatures (hot, and room temperature) 3)since the people saw the ice in the bowl their bodies reacted more . humans react to more of a visual you can clearly see the ice cubed but you cant really see hot water unless there was steam. psychological responses like when someone sees someone yawn their psychological response is to do the same , this is involuntary.

    1. Mason Wartman quit his job because he wanted to move back to Philadelphia so that he could make his own business. He decided to make a restaurant that gives the homeless free slices of pizza. 2. They are asked to write a note on a sticky note. They can take a sticky note off the wall and get a free slice of pizza. 3. I think it helps them stay happy and not starve. He wants other corporations to do the same exact thing as he is doing.

1.he quit his job because he wanted to move back to Philadelphia and open a pizza shop. after he moved he pursued his dream of opening a pizza shop. 2.if they want they can write on a sticky note and put it on a wall for a homeless person to get a free slice of pizza. all the person has to do is take a stick note off the wall and hand it to the person at the register. 3.it helps them from starving to death, it keeps them from steeling food from other places, it gives them hope. he wants other businesses to adopt similar pay-it-forward initiation

    1. between 600,000 and a million. they go on book tours to promote their book. 2.he is selling a copy that self-destructs after 24 hours. the book costs a lot because not only the book is included they get a first class ticket to a discrete location. solid gold binoculars, and a 5 course dinner with James Patterson. the significant of the cost is because you get a lot of extra THINGS with it. 3.he released 1,000 e-books. what was thrilling was that the book still had the count down clock.
