Every summer, Belly goes to Cousins Beach. There lives Susanna, Belly's mother's best friend who is basically Belly's second mother. Susanna has two boys: Jeremiah and Conrad. Since the beginning of time, Belly has had a crush on Conrad. However, both brothers view Belly as a little sister- not a girlfriend.
