About 8 years agocheetahluver's book review was featured in Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone (Book 1).
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is the first book in the magical series of Harry Potter. Harry Potter, who thought he was just an ordinary boy, soon finds himself to be a wizard. He is brought to the magical school of Hogwarts, where he finds friends and foes, learns unique spells, and confronts both dangerous and gentle mythical creatures. When he learns that he narrowly escaped death by the wand of an evil wizard, Voldemort, years before, and now the same wizard plots to kill him and regain power, Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, must defeat Voldemort, or else Hogwarts and the whole wizarding world would fall. This is my #1 favorite book and series, and probably always will be! It's just something about these books that I appreciate more than other other series- maybe it's the incredible imagination, or just JK Rowling's fantastic way of spellbinding the words together to create a volume that will leave it's mark in the history of the 20th Century! Nowadays, other 'cool and new' books such as the Hunger Games, Divergent, etc. are starting to become more popular, but I believe books like these are the best; books that create a special world as you read them, books that can transport you into that special world, and books that truly have an amazing amount of imagination in them. Don't worry if you think that reading Harry Potter would be considered 'nerdy', this is probably the coolest book I've laid my hands on!About 8 years agocheetahluver added a book review.
