Brittany Lee Morgan is an elite gymnast. She and her family moved to Texas so she could go to a world-class gymnastics facility. When she gets there, she comes up with some ideas of conversation starters to talk to the girls there. However, her intentions are mixed up and it causes conflicts between herself and her teammates. When she keeps doing things her way and not listening to her coach, she risks losing her spot on the team as well as almost getting injured. Not only that, but her friend from her old school confessed to her that she spoiled her party when she made everything about her. Even though Brittany seems to have ruined all her friendships, she has not messed up the friendship with her friend Jessie. However, when Brittany notices something about her that nobody has yet, Jessie asks Brittany to keep it a secret. Brittany betrays her trust and tells a coach as well as her team. She now has another conflict within herself- did she do the right thing by telling the coach, or was it wrong of her to tell a secret that wasn't hers to tell? How will she make things right in the end? Overall, I enjoyed this book and I recommend it to people who are interested in gymnastics or like to read books that are realistic about real life situations.
