I teach Research and Reading Skills. I love to add books like this to my classroom library to get kids interested in researching.

My students love to read stories about animals. I currently do not have much to offer them from my classroom library. They are veracious readers; hungry for more!

This would be a great book to teach predicting! Students could write a journal entry predicting what the book will be about just by looking at the clever illustrations on the front.

Many of my students can relate to this book. It would be a great addition to my classroom library.

This is a great book to teach how authors give human characteristics to animals.
