This movie painted the evil witch in a totally different light. What I loved most about this movie is how there are always two sides to a story, and the witch, Maleficent, her story was untold her way. In Disney, Maleficent never had wings, but do you ever wonder why? She did have wings, and she fell in love with a mortal from a palace/kingdom not too far away from the fairyland she lived in. But one day, he turned his back on her and cut off her wings so he could become king. Another thing that I loved so much about this movie is that you don't need a prince. Reading a review is not the same as watching the movie, so I suggest you go do it now!!! ;)Almost 6 years agospykitten replied to a comment in

Compared to "The Amazing Spider-Man" this film felt like a let down. I personally loved the first installment, and it is still my favorite Spider-Man movie to date. So of course, I was very excited to see this movie. However, quite honestly, I came out of this movie back in 2014 a bit disappointed. The first movie balanced all it's characters really well, and I was interested in pretty much everything going on. With this one, I honestly felt that they were too worried about setting up a bigger universe that they forgot to make a really good movie. Now, don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this movie, and I do own it, but compared to the first one, it just felt like it took a step down in quality. Also, I cannot stand it when movies set up for a sequel and leave you on a HUGE cliffhanger, and then for whatever reason another movie isn't made. It drives me crazy. That's exactly what happened here. While the Amazing Spider-Man 2 did okay in the Box Office world wide, Sony decided, for various different reasons, to discontinue the series and add a different version to Spider-Man to the MCU. While I am perfectly fine with Tom Holland's new Spider- Man, I would've liked to see where this universe could go. And I did not think it was fare to end this series with this movie. Overall, I didn't hate this movie. I very much enjoyed the fight sequences, especially the one with Electro in Times Square. But honestly, the movie was lacking something that the first one did so well. So in the long run, I did not like this one as well as the first one.Almost 6 years agospykittenliked a comment in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
The film of amazing Spider-Man 2 just had a whole new beginning and challenges to Peter Parker ( Andrew Garfield). It led to new villians such as electro and green goblin and most of all rhino which is to be continued. However after the last scene of the film it brought intense. This led to a sequence of era of villians wanted to hunt Spider-Man down. However after that movie a new generation happened. This led to chaos and fans of there not being able to have amazing Spider-Man 2. Despite that amazing Spider-Man was an enjoyable movie that many spidey fans will enjoy. It showed a deep tragic of what happened to Peters Parents and how Peter tried to study more about them. This led him to graduation and to meet his old pal Harry Osborn. From that time it showed more about Harry’s father and Peters father and the impacts of studies of spiders. However after that moment it led to a colossion a colossion that all enemies that want to kill Spider Man are all from Oscorp. This relates to The Lizard, Rhino, Green Goblin and Electro. To finalise, amazing Spider-Man series and movie was amazing and I really enjoyed, it had some sad impacts but was really unhappy about Sony not able to produce Amazing Spider-Man 3Almost 6 years agospykittenliked a comment in Spider-Man 3.
This movie was, in my opinion (and I'm sure most of you will agree) , the worst Sam Raimi directed movie in the movie franchise. I must confess, I expected more out of this movie, what with the past two movies being so awesome. Here are my reasons to say so: Three villains+romance= NO. Almost all of them tried to kidnap Mary Jane. And she didn't even try doing anything!! She just screamed helplessly for Peter. There were a lot of fighting scenes. And the fights were AWESOME!! I give credit to that. Now, let's all go to the subject we've been dreading. Oh yes. Peter's behavior with the symbiote substance under his clothes. It made him: Act cocky, Lie to Doctor Connors, Stand up to Flash Thompson (A good thing) Flirt with girls on the street through sign language, Dance that.....dance in the street (I'm assuming to make a good impression on girls), Steal the stage at that club, and bring on a love crisis between him and Mary Jane. Overally, if you saw the first two movies and a fan of heaps of action, I suggest this movie.Almost 6 years agospykittenliked a comment in Summer Reading 2018.
