It's a beautiful story. Rebecca Stead is a great author. She can take a story off the streets and twist it, change it, make it abstract and intriguing. This book tells the story of a young girl whose parents are divorced, because her dad is gay. She doesn't really understand that some people just don't believe in being gay. She loves Jesse, her dad's fiance, and she knows Jesse and her dad love each other. But what she doesn't know is herself. Something that she did in the past has been bothering her, and she doesn't know what kind of person she is and what to do about it. I recommend this books for everyone :) ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Wow, it's so nice what all these people did!! I live all the way up in Alaska so for one thing we weren't hit by the storm, but also we are prepared for weather like this, it's very normal for us. Good luck to everyone who was affected by the storm and I hope you're all ok!!

This is an interesting book. I really liked it, and I think it demonstrated really well just how we kids act as we grow up..... I really enjoyed it and I think it's important for everyone to read this because it taught me a little bit about how my actions and my words affect others, and everyone around me. I just wish there was a sequel!!

"She was elusive. She was today. She was tomorrow. She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl." Jerry Spinelli wove a beautiful story. It's hard to explain in words, you really must feel the story. There's something about this book that can settle deep into your bones, and change you forever. It sure did for me. This is a book I could read every day for years, and never get tired of it. There's always more- more small details, more beautiful poetry, more lessons to learn. This is the book that changed my life and made me see the world from a different perspective!! Everyone needs to try Stargirl, and if it's not for you, that's fine. But really, pay attention to the small things, to the words, to the feelings you get from the book. Think about how you can be like Stargirl, and think about how you're not like Stargirl. Remember to be yourself <3
