I thought this book was very interesting and well written. I did not think I would like the Percy Jackson books because I am not really into fiction books and they sounded kind of weird, but a friend recommended this book to me and I actually enjoyed it. This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson who, after a very strange incident, is sent to a camp for half-blooded children where he finds out his father is one of the Greek gods. After that, his whole life is turned around and he is sent on a quest with two of his frineds to save the world. As I said before, this book was very well written and it was definetly one that I did not want to set down.

I really like this book. I think it would be a good family book, because it is a really good book. I really liked Bongo and Red, the main character. I think it has a really good ending. It is about a tree who people put wishes on. One person carves a word onto Red, the wishtree. It is a clean book.
