Guinea pigs do not harm owners intentionally. They either get upset or scared at something. So be gentle with them. My last guinea pig, Jasper went through biting attacks where for no reason he would jump around in circles and bite what was close. I learned that I had to settle him down so I played Mozart and slowly he calmed down. Talking reassuringly in a quiet voice also helps soothe guinea pigs. Try to be patient with nervous lil' pigs! :3

Considering that she was nicknamed "IRON LADY" I would say she was an incredible leader.

"Iron Lady" one should take that name as a compliment. Russians admire strength and must have respected her so much that they have her this name because of her strength.

People in South America raise guinea pigs like we take cattle. For them it is completely normal and if they saw us eat McDonalds they would be disgusted at us just like we are disgusted at them eating something that is completely normal for them. It's all just a matter of perspective. I own a guinea pig and sure, I would hate eating it because I have guinea pigs for pets. However, the people in S. America see them as if they were just meat. The Aztecs, however, believed black guinea pigs had special power and used them for healing the sick and dying. Th Aztecs also raised them for food too. It wasn't until explorers brought back guinea pigs and people found out they made excellent pets. Queen Elizabeth the First, actually owned a guinea pig. So as I say, it's about perspective.
