When I picked up this book I had no idea how absolutely incredible it would be. Within the first few pages I was already hooked! I reread this book a dozen times, it never seems to get old! It's about a girl named Sunny, and her incredible journey in Nigeria. As well as how she took something she wasn't proud of (her albinism) and figured out it was the most incredible thing about her. This book took me through a magical, mystical journey of modern day magic. you guys got to read this book. let me give you the intro about this book!
Twelve-year-old Sunny lives in Nigeria, but she was born American. Her features are African, but she's albino. She's a terrific athlete, but can't go out into the sun to play soccer. There seems to be no place where she fits in. And then she discovers something amazing—she is a "free agent" with latent magical power. Soon she's part of a quartet of magic students, studying the visible and invisible, learning to change reality. But will it be enough to help them when they are asked to catch a career criminal who knows magic too? bye for now.
