1.the part the retina plays in our ability to see colors is the retina contains cells called rods or cones that are sensitive to different types of light. 2. when light comes onto an object only light that has the correct amount of nanometers reflect off of it our brains process illuminating light by taking that in and sending messages to the brain trying to match the image to that color and shape. 3.
