This is a really interesting story about a boy who runs away from home to live on a mountain. He learns to survive on his own with hardly any one or anything to help him. He collects his own food, builds his own house, and even makes his own clothes! I enjoyed all the useful survival skills packed away in this book. I also enjoyed the story, which was dramatic and entertaining.

Emily is just a normal kid. Until Pegasus crashes on the roof of her apartment building that is. When Emily meets the mysterious and magical Pegasus, she launches on a wild adventure to save the Olympians from being destroyed by a mysterious new race, all while being chased by CRU, an organization bent on locating alien technology and using it for themselves. In the end, Emily must bond with Pegasus like never before, and unleash the true power of the flame of Olympus. This book had a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter, and I really enjoyed this fast-paced novel and the story was exciting and full of adventure.

Ever since Sabrina and Daphne's parent's went missing they have been in and out of foster homes, and now they are being sent to live with a grandma which they never knew they had. It turns out the two sister's are descendants of the Grimm brothers, and that the Grimms have kept magical beings and people in line for centuries, and now the job falls to them. Now they must face giants, fairies, Pixies, and discover who is behind all of the criminal happenings in this small town of Everafters. This book reminded me of the Percy Jackson series the way it put a new twist on fairy tales and the modern world, and it was very interesting and a page turner for sure.

This page turning mystery novel is staged in London. And the main character, fourteen year old Sophie, who has finally gotten herself a job at one of London's most prestigious stores. But even as she makes new friends, there is a robbery, and she a number one suspect! Will Sophie and her new friends solve the mystery in time to clear her name? Or will Sophie have to leave her dream come true? This book was really fun to read. It is told from several viewpoints, and I found myself rooting for the characters from the start. It a satisfying mystery, and contained interesting facts about codes and what life was like back then in London.

In this fast paced adventure by Rick Riordan, three demigods must journey across the globe to fulfill a prophecy and search for the missing Percy Jackson. But will the team be torn apart by enemies? Or will they be able to stop whoever is behind everything? This book was really cool. I like how you read it from three different viewpoints. Rick Riordan did a fantastic job.

Young orphan Anne Shirley has dreamed of having a family for as long as she can remember. And then the opportunity to have a family finally comes, and she travels to Green Gables, where Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert live. As Anne settles into her new life, she makes friends and enemies alike, and uses her imagination like never before, which sometimes gets her into trouble. Anne of Green Gables made me laugh and laugh and laugh. Her run-away imagination gets her into so many hilarious situations. Great book!

This book is about a bunch of smart kids, who are training to become explorers. But one of them, Cruz Cornado is on a mission to find a formula left by his mother, who left clues and secrets all over the world. But other people don't want that formula to come to light, and they will do anything to get their hands on the clues before Cruz. Will he and his friends be able to find them first? I loved all the cool tech in this book. And it was fun to try and solve the clues and riddles before they did. A fun and adventurous book.
